Deorro, as you may already know, is done with DJing due to lack of family time, which was unfortunate news to the EDM community, but was also understandable. Luckily, Deorro is not done with producing though, not only is there talk of him forming a producer trio, but Deorro has plans to release plenty of solo productions; for example his cutting-edge Boombox EP via Ultra Records, now available to listen (below) on SoundCloud and purchase on iTunes or Beatport!
Deorro kicks off the new two track EP with a solo project, a unique three drop arrangement on ‘Stopping Us' featuring, not only a beautiful progressive house production, but also a rave-ready electro house feel with a style similar to his earlier Melbourne Bounce tracks!
Then, Deorro follows up with a much different production for the second track off the EP, collaborating with trap producer D!RTY AUD!O and rapper iE-z on ‘Hit It', blending two dramatically different subgenres, electro house and trap, complete with rap verses!
Overall, Deorro's Boombox EP was the perfect way for the family man to break his silence as he focuses, not only on that family time, but also on making more standout music, as well as on expanding his record label, Panda Funk Records, in the coming new year of 2015!
