When you hear the word Penthouse, you think of luxury, relaxation, and style. When you hear the smooth sounds of producer duo Penthouse Penthouse, you can't help but think of the same things. Comprised of Preston Walker (of Virtual Boy) and Mike Parvizi, these two experienced musicians present a whole new DIY sound to the electronic music world.
Preston Walker is one of the creators of Team Supreme, a group of producers featuring big names like Mad Decent's Djemba Djemba, and other up and coming killers like Mr. Carmack. This crew is on a whole new level. Each week they pick one BPM and two samples. Using these guidelines, they have a variety of producers create one minute tracks. All these tracks are then mixed together into a weekly mix. These “Beat Cyphers”, as they call them, are definitely something fun to check out.
