Coming next month the once thriving CBS-owned radio streaming service we all know as Last.fm will be coming to an end.
On April, 28th the service is planned to come to a halt after vast competition has continued to push Last.fm out of the way. First with Pandora, then Youtube hopped on the streaming, followed by the famous Spotify.
Last.fm will survive itself but without the streaming services, subscribers will still be able to find New Music through Last.fm by CBS “improving its recording and scrobbling of tracks on other streaming music services, which should help Last.fm users discover new artists and songs.”
