Hailing from Milan, Italy, Lush & Simon have been growing more and more popular as the year continues. Their last single, “Adrenaline,” was a catchy and powerful Progressive House banger that captured the reputable interests of DJs like Hardwell, Nicky Romero, Tiesto, and many more. Now, Lush & Simon are back with their follow-up single, “City of Lights,” and as opposed to their previous single being a fist-pumper, this track of theirs is an uplifting song that will get the crowd's hands in the air and put smiles on their faces. “We wanted to make something different to ‘Adrenaline' but still very melodic” tells Alessandro Miselli (AKA Lush) via email. With the intro sporting playful tom-tom drums and a lead melody that resembles something you'd hear in an old video game, this track has a very positive feel to it. The melody shines brightly at the break, where piano chords and a simple but hearty guitar line bring forth a serene interlude. Miselli adds, “we wanted to bring a more ‘real' approach to this song, [and] a vocal version of the song will be released soon,” so be sure to stay tuned for that.
