On May 29, Toronto's tech-house siren, Sydney Blu, enchants all of Motor City with The Blu Party: Detroit Edition, coinciding with Eastern America's most important techno event, Movement Electronic Music Festival. Held at one of the city’s best-known venues, Exodus Rooftop, this round features a massive stack of underground acts.
Headlining the night is four-to-the-floor vet and self-proclaimed house gangster, DJ Sneak. Accompanying the long-time legend is Dirtybird executive and co-creator of the label's popular BBQ event series, Christian Martin. Plus, warehouse-pro, Gene Farris, carries the Chicago banner east to Detroit, and the party continues with the Saunderson Brothers on center-stage. As to be expected, Sydney Blu also joins her carefully-crafted roster, alongside more party-starters including Dopekatz, Soul Goodman, Derek Specs, Miz Megs, Blu 9, Sonya Alvares, and Marletta.

This month's installment is presented by Blu Music and The Grasshopper Underground, the latter of which is a Metro Detroit jewel and the location of Sydney Blu's latest DJ residency.
