Ultra Music Festival is an event that is normally dominated by house, trance, and tech, but every year there seems to be a few of the best acts in bass music in attendance as well, giving headbangers something to rejoice about. This year, many deadicated fans were hype to see their favorite Canadian duo Zeds Dead on phase two of the UMF lineup! However, it seems the group has been taken off of the lineup as they did not appear on the flyer for phase 3. The cause for this is still unknown, but fans unfortunately will not be throwing their Z's up at Ultra this year.
However, if you are a big enough fan of DC & Hooks, there is a way to still catch them in South Beach! The boys will be hosting their own Miami Music Week event at Soho Studios on Thursday, March 23. They will be headlining the Deadbeats show alongside EDM superstar Jauz and are bringing with them special back to back sets with artists such as Herobust, Ghastly, Mija, Grandtheft, Troyboi and many more! Thursday should be a special night and even though we won't get to see the boys at Ultra this year, we are glad Miami will be hosting them at some point next week.
