Since then Lee has won multiple contest and opened for artist like Steve Aoki and even Nero.
“I'd love to give a shoutout to the team One City Music Group (OCMG) for always standing behind me. They do what they can to keep me on track and out of trouble. OCMG has been with me since the beginning, and they stay true to the family.”
Lee has been talented enough to be signed by multiple labels over years including High Five Music, FYDID, Glitch World Recordings, Phunk Traxx and Electronic Future. Lee’s most recent release has been extremely successful with over 40k+ streams currently. His current goals are to land a major record signing an hopefully get a chance to travel as a performing artist at festivals and venues around the world.
“Closer is probably one of my favorite tracks to have released right now because it's something different than what I normally try to produce. It was more of an experiment that ended up turning into something amazing. The song has already hit playlist all over the world and has over 40k streams.”
We got a chance to ask Lee Leprechaun about his newest record:
“This song was inspired by older deep house and techno classics like “God is a dj” The track was kind of an experiment and the end result sounded amazing. The simple bass line turned out to be more pewful than expected. The vocals were actually added last. I felt the song was missing something well, that seemed to be it. I like to use different sounds in place of drums or breaks. For this, i used a chop of the vocal.”
We hope you enjoyed this addition to EDMsauce.com's Artist of the Week Series – we're always dedicated to bringing you the best in up and coming dance music – we hope introducing you into Lee Leprechaun really puts you on to his music, journey, and overall, well rounded talent.
