Outside Lands has now joined the evergrowing list of festivals who are becoming more relaxed about cannabis consumption and its use at festivals.
The Bureau of Cannabis Control has just approved on-site sale and consumption of weed to people of age at Outside Lands. Attendees will have the option of buying up to seven grams of bud, plus two grams of concentrated product, within the designated areas. Since the festival starts tomorrow, this is great news for festival-goers. Soon the days where sneaking in your weed to festivals will be gone!
The festival now joins Northern Lights and Ever After with these similar initiatives. Though, Outside Lands is the first ever to have sales happen on the festival grounds. Designated areas will be marked off for smoking and vaping. Festival-goers can even enjoy their edibles and cannabis-infused beverages throughout all of the festival grounds.
Fans can also bring their own paraphernalia, as long as it follows the no glass rule.
This is the first time this has ever been allowed at a U.S. music festival. And, where it excited to see where it will lead the future.
What do you think of this new initiative?
