Xilent has broken his year-long silence and dropped You Rise on Monstercat. Xilent could go by many names; the grandeur of glitch, dominator of dubstep, conqueror of complextro, and he would deserve every one of them. The insanely talented producer skyrocketed to fame in 2011 with his debut of Choose Me II. Over the next few years Xilent released several EP's and Albums, the latest being 2015's We Are Virtual. Xilent is the best thing to come from Poland since the pierogi, hands down. Although he now resides in the UK Xilent has been the guy that the world's best dubstep producers have been trying to catch up to for the last 8 years, spoiler they still haven’t.
You Rise begins in an atmospheric realm that has a trap vibe going on. Sawing synths cut in creating the songs melody. Xilent’s drops are legendary and this one is no exception for it cuts like a knife. The way he combines dubstep, complextro, and glitch is so perfect. Listening to You Rise is similar to an experience I had as a child when I was hit by a crashing wave; I was thrashed around violently, I was a little terrified, but overall it was fun as hell.
