Illenium has channeled The Chainsmokers style of pop crossover for his latest release. I am sure many fans will shudder with terror upon reading that first sentence, but have no fear because Illenium has seemingly found the formula to craft a truly awe-inspiring pop-house tune.
His latest release, ‘Crashing' features gorgeous vocals from Bahari and a driving, upbeat melody that will move you to emotion. While Illenium produced a near perfect track on this cut, Bahari's vocals are truly the standout. Staying constant from beginning to end, the vocalist elevates the tune with several verses and a wonderfully catchy refrain.
This track is made to be a break from the hard-hitting action of Illenium's live sets. Upon one listen you can already see couples in the crowd taking a break from the headbanging to share a moment to this beautiful tune. Illenium is a wizard of sorts when it comes to producing tracks with palpable emotion.
