Coachella announced its line up last Thursday, and tickets went on sale promptly at 11 a.m. last Friday. By the end of the workday on the Pacific coast, both weekends had officially sold out.

The festival features Childish Gambino, Tame Impala, and Ariana Grande as headliners this year. Grande will be the youngest female headliner in the festival's history. Coachella also has a wide array of electronic acts and includes a lineup of techno artists that will make even the most staunch Berlin raver blush.

While a 6-hour sell out time is nothing to balk at, in years past, the festival has sold out entirely in under 3 hours.
