Tom Morello will go down as one of the most influential guitarists of all time. His work with Rage Against the Machine is nothing short of iconic. The way that Tom used the guitar was different from anything that anyone had ever known. Being a trend breaker and creative genius has lead Morello to work on a new project, something that once again nobody saw coming.

Tom Morello – The Atlas Underground

The Atlas Underground is the latest twisted experiment from the mind of Tom Morello. It fuses all genres of music together including rock, rap, punk, and of course electronic together into a one of a kind sensory experience.

Collaborators on the album include Steve Aoki, Bassnectar, Pretty Lights, Whethan, Knife Party, and many more. Each track is a true work of art. Morello works his signature style of heavily distorted guitar into the style of each artist to create a sound that is familiar yet fantastically unique. His track with Pretty Lights ‘One Nation' is almost chilling in the way that Tom perfectly molds his instrumentation with Derek's production.

I could go on and write a lengthy review about this album, but I can sum it up pretty quick instead so you can get to listening to it rather than reading my writing – it is f*cking perfect. Listen to the whole thing all the way through.
