Kygo is making an impact on the world not only through his music but by the organizations he is involved with. Kygo has partnered with ‘Tomorrow Needs You', a campaign organized by To Write Love On Her Arms. ‘Tomorrow Needs You' seeks to increase mental health awareness and raise funds for treatment.
In addition, ‘Tomorrow Needs You' “encourages honest conversations about suicide and sharing the ways in which we can work to prevent it.”
“This year has been a tough year in the music industry, and I think it’s time mental health is taken seriously,” Kygo wrote in an Instagram post.
Since Avicii's death in April, the topic of mental health has been at the forefront. Kygo says that Avicii was his “biggest musical inspiration,” and “the reason [he] started making electronic music”.

In honor of World Suicide Prevention Day (September 10), I’m proud to join the ‘Tomorrow Needs You’ campaign by @twloha. This year has been a tough year in the music industry, and I think it’s time mental health is taken seriously. I’ve decided to donate $30,000 to TWLOHA’s campaign. If you want to help as well, go to the link in my bio to donate. 100% of your donation will go toward connecting people to the help they need and deserve! Thank you @twloha for the work you’re doing🙏🏼
The conversation about mental health is an important one. We here at EDM Sauce are here to further it in any way we can. If you're interested in donating to Tomorrow Needs You, visit the link here.
