Kygo pledges $30k to ‘Tomorrow Needs You’ in honor of World Suicide Prevention Day

Kygo is making an impact on the world not only through his music but by the organizations he is involved with. Kygo has partnered with ‘Tomorrow Needs You', a campaign organized by To Write Love On Her Arms. ‘Tomorrow Needs You' seeks to increase mental health awareness and raise funds for treatment.

In addition, ‘Tomorrow Needs You' “encourages honest conversations about suicide and sharing the ways in which we can work to prevent it.”

“This year has been a tough year in the music industry, and I think it’s time mental health is taken seriously,” Kygo wrote in an Instagram post.

Since Avicii‘s death in April, the topic of mental health has been at the forefront. Kygo says that Avicii was his “biggest musical inspiration,” and “the reason [he] started making electronic music”.
