Newly Announced “Clubhouse” Festival In Maryland Featuring Deadmau5 And More

Big news out of the DC-Maryland area today. A brand new festival is joining the fall calendar, and it’s got a lineup that immediately turns heads.
You guessed it, a new festival has emerged, this time bringing in the one and only Deadmau5. Unexpected to say the least, but I’m sure no one will complain when they see how awesome the rest of the lineup is. Set to be a huge event that not only features the mau5 but some other EDM legends as well such as Steve Aoki, Lost Kings and Wifisfuneral.
The event will be taking place at Laurel Park Racetrack in Maryland on October 20th. It’s presented by Club Glow, who are the owners of Echostage in DC and also partners of Moonrise Festival, so I’m sure we can all expect that its going to be a very well curated event full of excitement and dance music madness.
Tickets go on sale at www.ClubhouseFest.com this Friday at 12 PM so make sure to grab your tickets when they go live!!
What makes Clubhouse extra interesting is the setting. October 20th also happens to be Maryland Million Day, the state’s biggest day of thoroughbred racing, so this festival is essentially being built right into the middle of an already major event on the Laurel Park calendar. Instead of just another field or fairground, fans will get to rage trackside while live racing happens right alongside the music, which is a genuinely unique way to experience a festival.
Club Glow has been running the DC dance music scene since 1999, and between Echostage’s reputation as one of the top clubs in the country and Moonrise’s growth into a must-attend summer festival, they’ve more than earned the trust to pull something like this off. Pairing that pedigree with a lineup topped by Deadmau5 and Steve Aoki makes Clubhouse one of the more exciting new festival announcements to come out of the region in a while.
Organizers have also said the goal with Clubhouse is to introduce a whole new crowd to Laurel Park, mixing the energy of a proper dance festival with the tradition of a day at the races. With Echostage even setting up an elevated VIP viewing section complete with bottle service for the event, it sounds like Club Glow is pulling out all the stops for a first-year festival. If Moonrise is any indication of what this crew can build, Clubhouse has a real shot at becoming an annual staple for the DMV dance music community.
