The Chainsmokers have been making waves with their newly tuned sound that delivers a vibrant feel of Dance Pop. Through dropping their “Memories… Do Not Open” album, Drew and Alex have catapulted to the top of Dance Music and Pop charts with their soothing and melodic sound. With such a prominent past couple of years, it was no surprise that the American Duo took home the Top Dance/Electronic Artist award at this year's Billboard Music Awards. When they took the stage to accept their award, they took an approach we didn't really see coming with their dedicating it to Tim Bergling aka Avicii.

This dedication touches the souls of EDM fans across the world as Avicii meant so much to catapulting the world of music to what it is today. Beautifully worded and a great tribute. Another tribute came when Drew and Alex took the stage with Halsey to announce the winner of the Top Hot 100 Song (which they won last year).

The video shows many EDM greats reactions as Drew, Alex and Halsey spoke of Avicii's impact. The Billboard awards were a great show that shined light not only on current superstars, but the passing and memory of one of the men that made this all possible, Avicii. As they said,”He is the one that made us feel like this is a career”. Drew, Alex and Halsey, nothing but class here, much respect to you for these lovely words. Rest easy, Tim. Your impact is exponential and will live forever. As long as music is a thing, you will be viewed as a Pioneer and a damn legend.
