In the wake of Tim Bergling (Avicii)'s death on Friday (April 20), his digital song sales in the United States skyrocketed. Based on reports from Nielsen Music, Avicii's song sales have increased 6,000 percent from the day prior to his death.
Since Friday, Avicii's catalog of songs sold around 25,000 copies on Friday, compared to just 1,000 the previous day.
Of all of Avicii‘s songs, “Wake Me Up!,” “Levels,” and “Hey Brother” is selling at an astounding rate.
