The World’s First Zero Gravity Club Set To Take Flight

Imagine a music show in outer space? Yeah, it would be rad. But you and I will most likely never live to see the day of dancing on the moon. That said, another pretty rad concept has been delivered upon and is set to take part in 2018. For the first time in history, a party will take place in Zero Gravity, headlined by some of the world’s most prominent names. Labeled “The World’s Smallest Nightclub” WORLD CLUB DOME Zero Gravity will launch on the 7th of February, 2018 in partnership with Fraport—Frankfurt in Germany.

I know y’all are probably foaming from the mouth. But, the only way to win a ticket on board the flight is to send a 20 second video application to http://www.wcdzerogravity.com selling the curators on why you deserve to take part in the once-in-a-lifetime experience. With only two winners (one male and one female) to be selected from each continent including an additional two winners each from Germany and India, this is set to be one of the most exclusive, wild events in Electronic Music history!

“Every enthusiastic club-music fan, no matter where they are from, has the opportunity to apply to the competition with a chance of experiencing zero gravity with the world's top DJs. We have already converted many extraordinary locations into a club, but this opens up a whole new dimension,” says Bernd Breiter, CEO of BigCityBeats.

The event will take place on a converted A310 aircraft which was used by the European Space Agency (ESA) for astronaut training flights. The flight will last a total of 90 minues, with headliners Armin Van Buuren, Steve Aoki and W&W ripping the decks in the most insane party experience known to man. Attendees and DJ’s will float together in weightlessness—an experience usually reserved for astronauts. New news has surfaced that two European Space Agency Astronauts will be joining the ZeroG Team. Jean-Francois Clervoy and Pedro Duque are the two lucky spacemen.

“I remember my first ZeroG flight during my astronaut training. The feeling of weightlessness is something absolutely unique. A parabolic flight is the only way you can get the feeling of being in space that doesn't involve getting into a rocket. For us astronauts, these flights are really important to get acquainted with the experience of being in orbit.” – Pedro Duque, Astronaut, European Space Agency

It is an extremely exclusive event but fear not! German Telekom will be creating a Virtual Reality experience of the even for viewers to take part in it around the world!

WORLD CLUB DOME Zero Gravity is just another demonstration of how BigCityBeats are continually progressing the clubbing scene. Repeatedly breaking down the boundaries of conventional clubbing, the WORLD CLUB DOME concept was founded five years ago in Frankfurt. The event has become one of the biggest of its kind in Germany, dubbed the ‘biggest club in the world’ covering over 700,000m² with 20 gigantic stage designs, 200 spectacular headliners and the largest laser show on the continent, combining the glamour of a club with the open-air feeling of a festival.

Do us all a favor and make this damn thang happen! Get there and send us your experience wrap up!
