It is obvious that some sexism still exists in the dance music industry. That being said some seriously badass women are breaking through every glass ceiling imaginable and making sure that the once boys club of EDM is becoming a co-ed throw down.
Coachella's line up dropped this week and many fans were talking about unique placement of some acts. The placement of jamiroquai on the first line of the under card was probably the most bizarre decision from the festival seeing that his last US tour bombed incredibly hard. While that was the story line that gained the most traction another beautiful detail of the line up post has emerged.
Rezz and Alison Wonderland are easily two of the most accomplished DJs of 2017. These ladies have shown that they can not only compete with the guys but consistently outshine them. Both of these woman are on the third line of the under card which makes them the highest billed female DJs in the history of Coachella. Lets keep this moment going until they are sitting on top. Congratulations to two very deserved artists.
