The fact that we are a third of the way through the month of December and have no Ultra Miami line up is literally driving people insane. That being said there is legitimately no actual reason for concern because the line up has dropped as late as January in years past. 2018 will also be the 20th anniversary for the most famous dance music festival in the world, so if we had to guess Ultra is taking their time to curate a line up that will leave fans speechless.
Reddit Goes ‘A Beautiful Mind'
Over on the UMF subreddit fans have clearly been getting really bored waiting for a line up. This in turn has helped them get incredibly mathematical in order to calculate the most likely time for a line up release using the mean, median and mode of year's past reveal dates. It all started when one fan just started a thread with a random guess. Then one fan took it a step further.
So there you have it folks, if you wanna know when the Ultra line up is statistically the most likely to drop it is December, 13th, 17th or 22nd. Seeing that 22nd is getting a bit to close to the holidays, we have to imagine that the line up with be dropping some point over the next week. But honestly anyone who has taken a Stat class before knows – these calculations truly could mean nothing.
