Axwell ^ Ingrosso first debuted this wonder of a track at ADE 2016. It has been so long that many fans started to worry it would not see the light of day in form of an official release. This past week it was finally announced that ‘Dreamer' would be hitting the market on Friday, and here we finally are. ‘Dreamer' is an interesting mixture of modern day arrangements with the euphoric power of Swedish House Mafia hits. Now I am sure both Axwell and Seb are tired of SHM coming up in articles about their endeavors years after the fact so I promise I will not mention them moving forward.
‘Dreamer' seems to have been changed up a bit since it was first debuted in Amsterdam. In a way this is a bit disappointing. The once unimaginably euphoric progressive house tracks has now been transformed into a more pop endeavor. When that first drop finally hits I wish there was just a bit more energy, more a full on sprint than a the contained bounce that is present. Overall ‘Dreamer' is a beautiful song, but deep down I do wish this one kept it's original energy instead of being made more radio ready. Check it out below.
