Avicii returning in 2017 was one of the biggest stories of the year. The artist took over a year off from production entirely to focus on himself, and when he returned he was better than ever. The standout track of his grand return was ‘Lonely Together'. Today Avicii has released a compilation of official remixes for the song and Alan Walker was obviously the largest name to be featured.
Alan Walker‘s edit of the song was definitely minimal. This is almost as expected. Avicii is a legend in music and Alan had a massive task at reworking one of his biggest hits, he most likely wanted to play it safe and produce a solid, status quo remix. There is absolutely noting wrong with the tune, but unfortunately it does not really stand out in anyway. Check it out below.
