The wobble brothers of Ganja White Night surely have been busy. After a year of new collaborations and insane touring, the duo (Benjamin Bayeul and Charlie Dodson) just announced the release date of their upcoming album “The Origin.”
The full-length album is coming in February 2018 via GWN’s own label, SubCarbon Records. An animation created by the digital and graphic artist Ebo will accompany the album—telling the story of the origin of music.
Hailing from Belgium, Ganja White Night takes influence from early UK bass and reggae to create their unique “wobble” sound. Though the duo have been making music for over 10 years, the 2016 “Mr Wobble” LP was the first of their work to strike a chord with the public—thus the iconic wobble sound was formed. And it’s here to stay. “The Origin” will be the duo’s first all-wobble album.
