Five years ago, Zedd released one of the most controversial album releases of its time. When dance music was riddled with big room house and ‘bangers,' Zedd sought out a pop angle on electronic dance music.
While it seems that Clarity was well-received from the start, Zedd reflects back when “loads of people” hated it.
“I remember reading a 2 star review on the album back then,” Zedd said. “I put so much thought and work in to, it was really hurtful back then to see someone just not understanding it and then reviewing it poorly.”
