After the success of his previous single and video “Always,” Jack Massic returns this fall to give us another taste of his tropically infused house. The song was written by Massic and Milena Berns, who partnered up with the talented vocalist Julia Ross. The track has some Dancehall spice into the mix and the result is a refreshing sound that fits happily into the genre of Pop as much as it does with EDM.
“Let's Go Away” is not, as you might at first think, a song about traveling. It is a reflection of oneself, of leaving the past behind and looking forward; to be brave and march on bright hopes, keeping your head held high.
On vocal duties for the track is Julia Ross, who aside from being a solo artist herself (her first EP is out now, called True Stories Vol. 1), she has been on the road with Miley Cyrus for the last 7 years, as her back up singer.
