Nina Kraviz Lost Her Bag Of Both Personal and Music Items And They Were Actually Returned
While in England to perform at The Social Festival, a gorgeous multi-day celebration of tech and house curated by the legendary Nic Fanciulli, Nina Kraviz accidentally left a bag of deeply personal and sentimental items at her hotel. Unfortunately, when an artist loses personal belongings like this — especially music — they rarely get them back.
Luckily, thanks to some awesome teamwork from the festival and fans, Nina’s belongings were actually returned to her. All it took were a few tweets and some good Samaritans for Nina to have her collection of music and personal items returned. We’re happy to see that the community can come together and help out the artists we all love.

What happened, in short
The bag went missing after Kraviz’s set at The Social, a boutique house and techno festival that had recently added her to its lineup alongside names like Dixon and Heidi. According to reports at the time, the bag was left in a corridor at the hotel where artists were staying, and The Social’s team took to social media almost immediately to ask fans and festivalgoers to keep an eye out. Losing a bag like that is stressful for any artist, but especially for a touring DJ, since music files, drives, and other tools of the trade can be just as hard to replace as the personal keepsakes packed in alongside them.
A nice reminder of what the community can do
Within about 48 hours, the festival was able to confirm the bag had been tracked down and returned, crediting the quick turnaround to how fast the request spread online. Stories like this don’t always end well, so it was genuinely refreshing to see fans and festival staff pull together and get it sorted so quickly. Kraviz has remained one of the most respected names in techno in the years since, known both for her genre-blurring sets and her own ТРИП label and event series, and moments like this are a good reminder that behind the big festival sets, artists are dealing with the same travel headaches as everyone else.
