NGHTMRE Brings Bass Flare to “On The Run” Featuring Passeport

Coming off the release of “Embrace” collaborated with Australian Duo, Carmada, NGHTMRE has returned like the Minnesota Twins with another hot smash of a single, “On The Run” with Passeport. Dropping on Mad Decent, the track brings a bit of a different feel, but still delivers the bass we yearn for in NGHTMRE tracks. Dude has laid down some fire of late and is starting to make a lasting imprent on the bass scene. This track could prove a cornerstone for catapulting his career from Stud DJ to Superstardom with HEAVY radio play value.

Opening with a downtempo keyboard string, vocals rapidly kick in and launch us through a whirlwind of emotions. NGHTMRE did things a bit differently than we are accustomed to from him on “On The Run” but its rad to see this side of his production. The build brings us to more of his norm, dropping us into a sort of pop-drop but a twisted pop-drop. It doesn’t have that tropical super poppy feel, bringing to it shattering glass, much heavier bass lines and some horny sounds. Let’s be clear, I mean, Horn-E, like the instrument, horn. Get your head out of the gutter. Then again it is Friday. From the first drop it builds to another which drops a bit heavier bass and a continued feel of “dope”. “On The Run” is a masterful blend of harmonic and enticing sounds that are just too irresistible to ignore.

NGHTMRE continues his reign on 2017 with this heater. Peep the attached and be sure to catch your mans on his NGHTMRE Before X-Mas Tour this Fall/Winter.
