With Andrew Slutsky on guitar, Chicago-based twin brother duo Milk N Cooks recently released a genre-bending gem. Titled “Joy District,” the original track takes the listener on an adventure through sound.
It begins as though you were entering the production, fading and building up to a chill and tranquil guitar-driven drop. By the end of the track, however, Milk N Cooks has utilized too many electronic elements to number. Overall, “Joy District” culminates to be a relaxing new release, but the it isn't always about the destination, it is about the journey and these two brothers take the listener on one to remember.
