Ultra Europe 2017 – As Ultra Music Festival in Miami has come to an end, the Road to Ultra continues on with its stop in Split, Croatia. If you weren’t able to make it to Ultra Europe though, Ultra Music Festival has teamed up with Croatia National Tourism Board to present this year’s live stream.
The final day of Ultra Europe’s live stream will include artists such as Showtek, Nicky Romero, Martin Garrix, Afrojack and Hardwell.
This marked the 5th edition of Ultra Europe, held July 14th through 16th at Park Mladeži in Split, and the festival has grown into one of the biggest stops on the Ultra Worldwide calendar outside of Miami. Sunday’s closing night brought together a run of Dutch and Belgian mainstage heavyweights, Martin Garrix and Afrojack representing the new generation, Nicky Romero flying the Protocol Recordings flag, Showtek bringing their signature big room energy, and Hardwell closing things out as one of the most in-demand headliners in the world at the time.
Ultra Europe first launched in 2013 as an offshoot of the Miami original, and by its fifth year in 2017 it had cemented itself as one of the premier stops on the European festival circuit, drawing dance music fans from across the continent to the Dalmatian coast for a long weekend split between mainstage sets and afterparties around Split’s old town. The Resistance stage in particular has become known for showcasing techno and tech house talent that doesn’t always get mainstage real estate elsewhere, making it just as essential viewing for anyone tuning into the stream below.

For those tuning in from outside Croatia, this live stream is about as close as it gets to being on the ground at Park Mladeži, complete with the Resistance stage’s underground techno and house programming running alongside the mainstage sets. Ultra’s partnership with the Croatia National Tourism Board has made this one of the most accessible major festival streams in dance music, and with the mainstage lineup this stacked, day three is shaping up to be a fitting send-off for another edition of Ultra Europe.
