New World Tour: Krewella Announce 28-Date 2017 Tour
After releasing their 7 track EP New World, Krewella were making plans to further their new sound with a brand new 28-date 2017 tour. The New World Tour kicked off on September 21st in Dallas, Texas and would continue throughout the United States until November 11, 2017.

A Sound Reset for Krewella
This tour came at a pretty pivotal moment for Krewella. Sisters Jahan and Yasmine Yousaf had spent the previous couple of years rebuilding as a two-piece and steering their sound in a heavier, more electronic-forward direction than the pop-leaning tracks that first put them on the map. New World Pt. 1, the official title of the EP that kicked off this run, leaned into that darker, bass-heavy evolution, and the accompanying tour was one of the first big chances for fans to hear the new material live across a huge stretch of the country. Reviving momentum with a coast-to-coast run of mid-size venues and clubs, rather than just festival stops, let the duo build a more intimate live show tailored to the new songs.
Keeping the New World Rolling
The tour wasn’t the end of the New World era for Krewella. The duo followed the EP up with a companion remix package, New World Pt. 1 remixes, featuring reworks from artists like Dyro and Justin Caruso, keeping the project’s momentum going well after the tour wrapped. It was all part of a broader comeback stretch for Krewella that carried into their next full-length efforts and continued to reestablish them as one of the more resilient acts in the scene.
