Last year, Gary Richards aka Destructo, collaborated with Ty Dolla Sign and Makonnen on the song “4Real.” Earlier this year, Destructo decided to team up with E-40 and Too $hort to debut the hit single “All Nite.”
“We recorded that up at E-40’s house in the Bay,” Destructo recalls. “The dude is such a genius. He just looked at his phone and said, ‘I was in the shower and wrote this down.’ It became the hook for ‘All Night.’ He even drops this classic Oakland term ‘Maniey,’ which means ‘We go crazy.’ It fit the song.”
Tomorrow (June 30th), Destructo plans to release the full remix EP with remixes from Parker, Getter, Motez, Brohug and Noise Frenzy. As part of our premiere today, Parker has taken Destructo's “All Nite,” and given it a faster tempo while not forgetting about the vocals by E-40 and Too $hort.
