The past year has seen a lot of releases from the Heldeep record label and that trend does not seem to be ending soon. The Oliver Heldens’ owned distributor has yet another set of songs to offer the public. Titled Heldeep Vibes, it features various artists including: Tom Budin, Miles Graham, Redondo, Unomas, Teo Mandrelli, Niko The Kid, Plaid Brixx, Robby East, and Robbie Mendez.
Three of the four tracks are your usual house tempo. “Baby Don’t Look Down” by Niko The Kid and Plaid Brixx is a little bit slower, but a lot more funkier. It starts off with some groovy bass, then some sensual vocals help take it to the “drop.” The vocals remain throughout the song, and the energy never intensifies. It isn’t meant to. “Baby Don’t Look Down” has a nice slow and steady burn as opposed to a series of explosions and breaks. A perfect song for a chill summer day.
