Christian Smith, aka Crankdat, is easily one of the best up & coming artists in the EDM scene. Crankdat is known for his incredible “recranks” & remixes of some of the biggest EDM hits out there. His latest remix of “Girl At Coachella” by Matoma & MAGIC! feat D.R.A.M is an absolute masterpiece. With one of the dopest drops I've heard in a long time, Crankdat turns up the BPM's on this super chill song and turns it into a banger. This is a track that you can listen to at home, in the car, at a festival, & everywhere in between.
One of my agent Ferry's other clients is an artist named, “Matoma.” When Ferry and I were in San Diego, he played me a few of the new Matoma tracks, and said they were looking for remixes. One of the tracks that stood out to me was “Girl at Coachella.” I really liked the way Magic!'s vocals worked, but I wanted to put them on top of a more dance-oriented record. Here is my brand new remix of “Girl at Coachella”. ⚙
