Every week at EDM Sauce we like to showcase our favorite up and coming talent that we find. (Hey you should follow our Soundcloud Playlist) This week we are showcasing Decap and his phenomenal remix of Travis Scotts' ‘Goosebumps'.
Usually, I am the one to dismiss most rap remixes because they do not hold a candle to the original or are uninteresting but Decap definitely captures my attention. This remix could stand alone as it's own song because the instrumental is so interesting and diverse. Decap has some of the most banging drums I have heard in a hot minute and every hi-hat or kick sounds perfect throughout the mix. The synths are layered and interesting, Decap keeps the track evolving throughout the course of its 3-minute mark. If this is any indication of Decap it is that he is an exciting up and comer that you should be sure to keep your eye on!
