We can all remember when Tiesto gave the orchestral masterpiece a trance remix with stellar results. This is exactly how someone should remix a classic. Working in your own incredible style while keeping the integrity of the original.
Today we got a sneak peek at the forthcoming Dimitri Vegas and Like Mike remix of “He's a Pirate” which is due out the same day as the new Disney movie, this Friday, May 26th. While this is only a minute preview, we can already confirm this will be a flop. Just extending synths and putting in an additional awkward beat makes this remix sound cheesy and forced. We are much more excited for the new Pirates movie than this inevitably lackluster remix.
