Deadmau5 Plans To Release Coffee Run With Linus Tech Tips

After revealing his plans to create a new “unhooked” stage, deadmau5 revealed that he had some extra time to take someone on a coffee run. While he never mentioned who that would be, deadmau5 tweeted a teaser video of him taking out Linus Sebastian.

Linus Sebastian, otherwise known as Linus Tech Tips, is a Canadian YouTuber and founder of Linus Media Group.

During the short video clip, Linus Tech Tips can’t even figure out how to get inside of the Purracan. Stay tuned for the official release of deadmau5’s Coffee Run with Linus Tech Tips.

For anyone not deep in deadmau5’s car collection, the Purracan is his Nyan Cat-liveried Lamborghini Huracan – not to be confused with his other famous cat-themed ride, the “Purrari,” a Ferrari 458 he wrapped in similar feline branding a few years earlier and eventually sold off at auction. The man has a well-documented habit of taking some of the most aesthetically respected supercars on the planet and turning them into rolling internet memes purely, in his own words, “for lolz.” So a car this ridiculous giving a tech YouTuber trouble just finding the door handle tracks completely.

“Coffee Run” itself is deadmau5’s long-running web series where he takes friends, collaborators, and internet personalities out for a drive and a chat, mixing car culture with the kind of loose, unscripted conversation you don’t usually get from a DJ of his stature. Pairing him up with Linus Tech Tips made a lot of sense too – deadmau5 has been vocal for years about his love of PC building, custom rigs, and general tech nerdery, so getting Linus in the passenger seat of one of his wildest cars was basically a crossover event for two very different online fanbases.

The teaser alone was enough to get people excited, mostly because watching someone as technically sharp as Linus get stumped by something as simple as a car door is exactly the kind of chaotic, low-stakes content the internet lives for.
