Corona Electric Beach Announces Road to EDC Vegas w/ Autograf

There are few things that go together better than Coronas and beaches. What could make that combo even better you ask? How about Corona, beaches, and Autograf! Corona announces Electric Beach in Hollywood, on the road to EDC Las Vegas. Saturday May 27th this Memorial Day weekend from 1pm – 7pm (PST) Autograf will perform a DJ set at the W Hollywood at 6250 Hollywood Blvd. You can RSVP for the event if you are 21 or older by going to AUTOGRAFCEB.EVENTBRITE.COM or by clicking HERE

Electric Beach is a nationwide event throwing events in New York, Fire Island, LA, Atlanta, Miami, Denver, DC, Chicago, Las Vegas, Dallas, and Ft. Lauderdale. With artists such as Skrillex, Diplo, Lil Jon, Chromeo, Bob Moses, Kanye West’s Virgil Abloh, A-Trak, Paper Diamond, the events continue to bring the top tier talent in dance music. Edmsauce will have full coverage of the event. I hope I see you for some rooftop beats!
Corona’s Electric Beach series has basically figured out the perfect formula: take a beer brand that’s synonymous with sun and sand, pair it with a rotating cast of dance music’s biggest names, and let it play out at rooftop and beach venues across the country. It’s less of a traditional show and more of a vibe — daytime sets, warm weather, and a crowd that’s there to soak up the sun as much as the music. That the series keeps landing artists of Skrillex and Diplo’s caliber alongside rising stars says a lot about how much pull it’s built in just a few years.
This Hollywood stop is a smart pick timing-wise too. Landing the weekend before EDC Las Vegas kicks off (the 2017 edition runs June 16-18 at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway) gives LA-area fans a warm-up party before the trek out to the desert.
Autograf themselves are worth the trip alone. The Chicago-bred trio — Jake Carpenter, Louis Kha, and Mikul Wing — built their name on warm, melodic house that leans on live instrumentation as much as it does production polish, which is part of why their sets translate so well to a rooftop pool party setting like this one. They’ve already logged stops at Coachella, Lollapalooza, EDC Las Vegas, and EDC Korea, and their catalog includes collaborations with names like Halsey and the Chainsmokers, plus placements in shows like NBC’s The Blacklist and campaigns for brands like Nike. Their sound sits in that sweet spot between deep house grooves and pop sensibility, which makes them a great fit for a laid-back daytime crowd that still wants to dance.
If you’re in LA and 21-plus, this one’s an easy yes — free-flowing rooftop energy, a legit lineup pedigree behind the brand, and a good excuse to get your festival legs warmed up before Vegas. RSVP through the Eventbrite link above and we’ll see you up there.
