Chris Cornell, singer and frontman of Audioslave and singer for Soundgarden, was found dead in a Detroit hotel room early Thursday morning (May 18th). Cornell, 52 at the time, has allegedly committed suicide by hanging.
Since his divorce in 2004, Chris Cornell has struggled with depression and drug addiction. While most people know Cornell from his work from Soundgarden and Audioslave, Cornell also collaborated with Timbaland on the single “Part Of Me” in 2009.
A handful of EDM artists have taken to social media to express their condolences to the late artist. Check out tweets from deadmau5, Mat Zo and many others in the tweets below.

Maybe now's the time to do that temple of dog cover I've been wanting to do for ages. RIP Chris Cornell, probably the best vocalist in rock
