With deep sadness, we need to report that the DJ and producer most well-known for his single “Children,” has passed away at the age of just 47 years old. While the cause of death for Robert Miles is still unknown, the trance pioneer is said to have passed away in Ibiza.
Miles' hit single “Children” became one of the biggest dance music songs of all time, hitting the number one spot in more than 12 countries around the world. After reaching worldwide recognition, Robert Miles decided to take a step back and spent the rest of his life creating more experimental sounds and eventually launched Open Lab, a Balearic radio station that focuses on experimental sounds.
“”The tragic News of the death of a very talented artist of our time, makes me incredulous and upset,” said his friend, Joe T Vannelli.
