Someone Ring the Liberty Bell, It’s Chodegang Motherf*cker!

It's a bird… It's a plane…

If you are going to be anywhere within the general vicinity of Philadelphia on Saturday, May 6th, there is only one place to be. This Saturday, dubstep super group Chodegang will be making their first appearance in the city of brotherly love at the well known bass venue District N9ne. The trio, made of of disciples Barely Alive, Dubloadz, and Virtual Riot are set to bring the down the thunder for dubstep fans this weekend, and this is not a show you are going to want to miss. Opening duties will be handled by Bandlez, a native bass music duo who have been on the major up and up, headlining shows up and down the East Coast this year already. The combination of these two groups is set to bring fans in Philly one of the hardest hitting lineups the city has ever seen. With Philadelphia being known as one of the dubstep capitals of the United States, no rail is safe on Saturday. This entire week, the city has been unable to stop buzzing about this night.

This is not the first time, and we have a feeling this won't be the last time that we at EDM Sauce will be highlighting bass music at the Philadelphia venue of District N9ne. Starting a few years ago, three promotion companies took the city by storm, dominating the already thriving bass music scene. EDM Entertainment, Catharsis Collective, and University EDM began bringing some of the most diverse, and stacked bass lineups. These three companies found their way into a sort of competition with one another, always trying to top the last show the other threw. Then, a seriously magical thing happened. These three bass centered giants came together and joined their efforts for the greater good of our city, and now have been throwing shows together as a collective trio for the last year. What a year it has been! You can check out previous coverage of the venue and these three companies here.

With bass music receiving the highest of praise in Philadelphia's electronic community, the city is truly lucky to have these three companies always plotting to top themselves together as a now singular unit. Their own passions to bring the heaviest of the heavy to Philly have led to some of the most wild experiences for dance music fans in the city. Saturday night will be no exception, and we at EDM Sauce are extremely excited to party with you guys so soon! Tickets are still available here, but it doesn't seem like they will be for very long. Grab yours now and get ready for the Chode!
