Twitter Partners With Live Nation to Create the Perfect Live Stream

Social media platform, Twitter, has teamed up with Live Nation to exclusively stream live footage of any concert one desires. The first official live stream will take place on May 13th, streaming country band, Zac Brown Band. It is expected for artists such as Train, Portugal The Man, August Alsina, and Marian Hill to be live streamed later throughout the year.

Twitter CCO, Anthony Noto, took the opportunity to speak about the new feature:

“Music has always been one of the most Tweeted about topics on the platform, and now fans around the world will be able to experience concerts live on the same platform where they talk about what’s happening in music.”

Live Nation's chief strategy officer, Jordan Zachary, shared a few words about the new partnership:

“Our partnership with Twitter allows us to amplify the live music experience creating a tool for artists to reach millions of fans around the world. Through Twitter’s product suite, fans will be able to be immersed in the live experience and interact with each other in real time as they watch some of the year’s most exciting concert events.”

Along with this exciting News, Twitter will be releasing live premium video content of events such as the MTV Music Awards and Fashion Week, in cities such as New York, Paris, London, and Milan. They will also host a 24/7 news network that will be taking place this upcoming fall. Other news networks will be able to live stream any video content as well.

Twitter's new feature will give users a valid reason to be on the popular social media platform; this will greatly increase Twitter's profit. Viewers can now watch their favorite artists live while sitting comfortably in their own home. It seemed as if Twitter was already on the top of the popular board, but once this feature is live, that spot will likely be guaranteed.
