German electro-house star Zedd has come up with a new product that will only help his music career: high-quality headphones so fans can hear every aspect of his unparalleled sound in electrifying capacity.
He teamed up with Japanese technology company Double Zero for the April 10 release to construct the minimalist, over-the-ear set which is available for pre-order now. The color choices are either black or white and can be yours for a small dividend of $199.99. To give you a comparison, popular headphone brand Beats sells their high-quality sets for a measly $150-$399.99. Zedd pointed out that he wanted to create headphones that were not only aesthetically pleasing but sounded real.
“I wanted the headphones to sound real and exciting but look sexy, modern and timeless,” he said.
The pre-order sale began on April 10, and all purchases will be shipped out by Apr 19 (the official release date), unfortunately only to the United States or Japan, according to the website. There is also a meet-and-greet with Zedd in Tokyo on Apr 28 to celebrate the birth of the headphones.
