16 Unreleased Songs Played At Ultra Music Festival 2017
With Ultra Music Festival coming to an end, millions of fans are experiencing withdrawals after spending the last three days glued to their computers.
To fight off the Ultra blues, we have compiled 16 new songs that were debuted at Ultra. While most of these don’t have an official release date yet, we’ll be sure to report on when they do.
Spotting unreleased IDs is honestly one of the best parts of watching Ultra every year. Producers use the mainstage as a proving ground, dropping brand new records in front of a hundred thousand people to see how the crowd reacts before they ever commit to an official release. Fans in the crowd start Shazaming immediately, clip the drop on their phones, and within minutes the whole internet is trying to figure out who made what and when it’s coming out. Some of these tracks end up dropping within weeks, some sit as “ID” for over a year, and a few never get an official release at all, they just live on forever as festival lore. Either way, it’s become one of the most fun scavenger hunts in dance music, and this year’s Ultra delivered a serious haul of them.

Hardwell alone had his hands in five of these IDs, which tells you a lot about how packed his mainstage set was this year. Martin Garrix wasn’t far behind either, popping up across three different collabs and side projects, proof he was one of the busiest names on the lineup this Ultra. Keep an eye on all of these, a good chunk of them will probably be all over your festival playlists by summer.
