Calling All Aliens: Bleep Bloop is Touching Down in the City of Otherworldly Love

In electronic music there is a mainstream status quo of genre specific guidelines that most artists tend to follow in order to keep their creative process in the bounds that their fans will most enjoy. However, similar to every other genre of music, there are always outliers that test these boundaries or guidelines and garner a cult like following due to their inconsiderate nature when it comes to the cookie cut mold of the “normal” styles artists create. One of the most recent up and coming names to touch down to earth and infect listeners with a border challenging sound that could only come from a far off distant world in outer space is a strange half man half alien named Bleep Bloop. His heavily distorted trap sounds have gained nationwide attention here in the states and over the last year he has skyrocketed his out of the ordinary style to a level of serious acclaim playing major stages such as Electric Forest as well as embarking on his own headlining tour where he is presently playing.

Tomorrow, fans of Mr. Bloop will have the chance to catch him at one of Philadelphia's best venues, Coda. Coda, located in the center of downtown center city is usually marked as a place for the higher, more sophisticated electronic tasters to attend. The club attracts everything from Rittenhouse bankers looking to spend a lot of cash and ball out for a night of stress relief, to the highest standard tech heads who have found their place in the minimalistic styles of more “mature” dance music. However, every once in a while, the venue will be taken over by someone like Bleep Bloop who will attract the weirdest, spaciest, and heaviest of fans ready to make the dance floor of Coda a slimy and grimy home for the night. This dualistic approach to booking has made the venue highly revered by many diverse groups of electronic music fans in the city.

We can't wait for Bleep Bloop to invade our city tomorrow night, and we hope to see you all there as well. Tickets are still available here for just ten dollars, make sure to grab yours before the venue gets too packed. Let's get weird Philadelphia!
