As the year 2017 begins to unfold in front of us, as does a new year of incredible tunes and wonky remixes. Bleep Bloop is an up and coming bass producer hailing from Northern California who has worked closely with artists such as G Jones and Boyz Noize. Bleep Bloop first caught my attention at the beginning of 2016 when I saw him preform live at Dreamscape Festival. For months to follow I described his sound as if an alien had abducted me and took me to their underground music scene filled with unheard noises and irregular, sometimes non existent melodies. Ever since that performance, I have been craving to see and experience a Bleep Bloop live set once again and be taken off planet earth to a land far away.
This remix combines the best elements from Bleep Bloop's out of this world sound and the more understandable and distinguishable sounds of trap music. ‘Commas' already is an incredible track by Future that has made its waves in clubs and rap enthusiast's music libraries since 2015. The beauty of this remix is that it stays true to the trap melodies of ‘Commas' while adding his own distinct spin to lure in potential new listeners to his weird alien bass genre. With this interesting combination of trap, rap and alien bass, the sound is almost reminiscent of Stooki Sounds or HU₵₵I.
Overall, Bleep Bloop has outdone himself once more by remastering a rap classic with his own distinctive elements while still keeping true to the melody of the original song. Like what you hear? Catch Bleep Bloop on his upcoming spring 2017 tour coming to a city near you!
