New Year, New Armin van Buuren: “I Need You”

Not even a week into 2017 and Trance legend Armin van Buuren has unleashed a major new single with Grammy-winning producer Fernando Garibay. “I Need You”, which features vocals by Olaf Blackwood, is an infectious tune that will definitely make any Armin fan's day.

The song carries a mid-tempo tune throughout. With a nice piano intro and soothing vocals by Blackwood, the single reaches its peak with a soft, danceable break. While the song may not carry any hard-thumping beats, it is a soothing powerhouse of a song similar to songs from his latest album, Embrace.

When asked about his latest release, van Buuren said he was very proud of the end result.

“It's been truly inspiring to work with fernando garibay and olaf blackwood and to come up with something so musically adventurous.”

An accompanying Music Video is due out for release next week. Shot in Los Angeles, the premise of the video will poke fun at the superstar lifestyle. Armin van Buuren is currently touring the world in support of his Embrace album. His only two stops in the U.S. will be hitting the West Coast next month. Tickets to his Los Angeles and San Francisco area shows can be found here.
