Tove Lo's ‘Cool Girl' was an instant hit this past year. The vocalist now synonymous with her smash hit with Flume, ‘Say It', has had an absolutely stellar 2016. The exact same can be said for Matt and Eli of Two Friends. The pair have embarked on tour, released their own original productions off the likes of Armada and have continued to produce what might be some of the hottest remixes we have ever heard.
Lucky for you these two guys are not letting 2016 go out with a whimper, but instead with a bang. If you did not pick up on it in the first paragraph, then your reading comprehension skills are worrisome but Two Friends' just dropped their remix of Tove Lo's ‘Cool Girl' and it is absolutely fantastic.
The remix starts off with one of their now signature guitar riffs and soon clapping percussion joins in to build up the tension. The drop to this one plays heavily on vocal distortion and filtering to create an absolutely delicious and unique release. The track is a great blend of styles that really puts where dance music has gone in 2016 in a nutshell. Check it out below!
