Producer, Evix, released a new song, “I Need You,” on the independent Soundcloud label, MMXVAC earlier today.
At just 19-years-old, the Michigan native has been building the foundations for a strong music career. Evix, who has been producing for just over five years, identified “pure curiousity” as the source of sparking his production interests.
“My brother got me into dance music, and the more dance music I listened to, the more I questioned how it was made,” explained the producer, “I tried my hand at it, and I've just had so much fun producing over the past few years.”
“I Need You” is a catchy, upbeat tune that coincides with the musician's previous tracks. While predominantly releasing “happy trap” singles, Evix said he's, “never really believed an artist needs to have a specific sound.” Instead he said, “I would describe myself as versatile. When it comes comes to styles and genres, I like to dabble in everything.”
