Flume Receives His First Platinum Record in the US

Flume has just achieved platinum status in the United States for his song “Never Be Like You.” The blockbuster song appears on his second studio album ‘Skin,' which was released on May 27, 2016.

The album was well received by critics and even topped the charts for Billboard's US Dance/Electronic Albums chart.

While Flume has received many platinum certifications in his home nation of Australia, this is the first time Harley Streten aka Flume has received the platinum status in the United States.

Over the past weekend in LA I was presented with this plaque for Never Be Like You. I just wanted to say THANK YOU – it’s the first time I have ever had a platinum record in the states and its a very surreal feeling. It wouldn’t be possible without the amazing talent of @listentokai, my team at @wearefutureclassic @momandpopmusic and all of you here in the states and around the world for supporting my music ?
