Two years ago, Porter Robinson changed electronic dance music as we know it. With electro bangers such as “Spitfire” and “Easy,” Porter Robinson decided to break through genre barriers and release something more melodic and emotional. Many of the songs Porter Robinson released on ‘Worlds' wasn't intended to get crowds shuffling or jumping, instead Porter accomplished a superb production that hits on the emotional side of things.
Since ‘Worlds' was such a big move for Porter, it's easy to see why it took him a year to figure out any new music. Porter wrote “I was so stuck last year and now I'm not.”
Everything is going to take some time, but if I'm quiet for the next while, know that I'm working hard and excitedly.
