Deadmau5 is seriously not happy with SoundCloud. By now, you're probably aware that Deadmau5's SoundCloud was hacked days ago by the “security group” called Our Mine.
Our Mine threatened to release public information, sent a set of dildos to an old address of his and hacked his SoundCloud account.
Since SoundCloud does not have two-factor authentication installed on its platform, the hackers were able to get quite a rise out of Deadmau5 which then lead to a flurry of angry tweets to SoundCloud.
oh, im going to disable / remove my @soundcloud account until they fix their shitty 3rd grade security.

i dont think @soundcloud should be taking ANYONES personal information ESPECIALLY credit cards. if you were smart, you'd remove yours.
— dead mow cinco (@deadmau5) May 25, 2016
*only* that information eh… PHEW. im glad they ONLY had access to that. /kappa pic.twitter.com/LNkDxltW0A

well i SURE AM GLAD their access was extremely limited to….. EVERYTHING ON FUCKING @SOUNDCLOUD
— dead mow cinco (@deadmau5) May 25, 2016
and all @soundcloud had to do is pay a handful of devs to implement two factor seciruty, nope. they dont give a fuck.

SO! having said that, if you're an artist, you can forget @soundcloud if you think your personal is secure. because it's obviously not.

.@SoundCloud @SCsupport i cannot access or remove my intellectual property from your site as you have frozen the account.
— dead mow cinco (@deadmau5) May 25, 2016

After Deadmau5's angry tweets, Deadmau5 updated his Twitter on May 25th saying that he is “no longer interesting in their service.” If you head over to Deadmau5's SoundCloud, you are now presented with this error:
With SoundCloud out of the picture, Deadmau5 has decided to release his track “Snowcone” on Spotify. Earlier this week, Mau5trap uploaded a mysterious video to its Facebook page, which many people thought might be the announcement of his new album (including us). Unfortunately it's not. Stream Deadmau5's “Snowcone” below:
